Baptism
What is baptism?
Baptism is an important step in the life of a Christ-follower. The New Testament
teaches that new believers were baptized directly after they received Jesus
Christ as their Lord and Savior; there was no delay, there was no wait… it
was an immediate step.
Why should you be baptized?
- Jesus said we should be baptized.
- Baptism is an awesome picture of how you are clean on the inside now
that Jesus has forgiven your sins and lives inside of you, and it is a
picture of how you are connected to Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection.
- Baptism is a way to let everyone who is watching know that you believe
in Jesus and are committed to following Him.
