Community
Groups
Community Groups are small group gatherings of 6-10 people that meet in
homes or other convenient locations to study the Bible (and biblical topics)
and build relationships with one another. It is not mandatory to have
gone through the Partnership (membership) class in order to attend or join
a Community Group.
At Mosaic, we believe that Community Group settings are the optimal place
where people can (over time) build safe and transparent relationships that
allow them to “take off their masks” and help one another through
the normal (and sometimes not so normal) struggles of life that hinder
us from growing in our relationship with Christ.
Here is a look at the types of groups we will offer:
Growth groups - designed for believers, these groups
will focus on growing to maturity in Christ through Bible study, prayer,
and community with other believers in the group (Mosaic will offer various
types of Growth groups - Men’s, Women’s, Couples).
Spiritual Interest groups – these groups are
designed for those who have not yet come to know Jesus as their Forgiver
and Leader, but are open and willing to investigate the claims of the
Bible and Christianity.
Play Groups – Most of us spend too much time
working, studying, fighting rush-hour traffic, and not enough time having
fun. So, at Mosaic, we will have groups that meet regularly for
relaxed, informal events designed to help you build real relationships
while having fun! Whether it’s watching a movie, playing laser
tag or going extreme bowling… it’s an easy way to check
out Mosaic, meet new people, and just have a good time.
